Walkabout
Walkabout is an annual mentorship program for fatherless boys. Our mentorship program incorporates sports, life-skills training, Biblical discipleship and initiation into manhood. Essentially, we seek to offer these boys spiritual fathers to help them grow into men. Graduation from this program takes place during a week-long backpacking trip in the Colorado Rocky Mountains.

Walkabout 2015 Highlights Video:
Life Skills School Life Skills School is a weekly life skill training program designed to teach high school students the skills that are necessary to navigate life after high school. These are skills that most schools do not focus on. Just to name a few: S.A.T. preparation, basic car maintenance, carpentry, sales skills, creating a resume, navigating a job interview, understanding interest rates, how to balance a checkbook and wilderness skills. It is not uncommon for our mentors to take a student on a work shadow day! Our overarching emphasis is on helping our students discover God's will for their lives! |
M.O.A. M.O.A. stands for "Monthly Outdoor Adventure." Typically, M.O.A. takes place on a Saturday and includes adventures, such as trips to a local waterpark, fishing, hunting, outdoor basketball, football, disc golf, ultimate frisbee, BBQs, pool parties, etc… These adventures provide opportunities for discipleship in a fun setting! More importantly, M.O.A.'s are where mentors are able to forge deeper bonds with their spiritual sons. |
Weekly Discipleship Our most important programming is consistent weekly Biblical discipleship! This is where our students learn to know God, receive healing, develop a healthy understanding of what it means to be a man and begin to understand their identity and purpose in Christ. |
